Mountain Lotus Speaker Series

We will be examining the historic routes of Manifest Destiny and western expansion through the Sierra Nevada and the impacts it had on the Washoe People and their homelands. By understanding these destructive practices and path, we can now change course using TEK Traditional Ecological Knowledge to heal the damage to the environment and its Original Peoples.
