Mountain Lotus Yoga

Hot Yoga - based on the traditional 26 poses energizing the body in 90 minutes. All postures maintain the spirit of stillness, depth, length of posture, and heat. This yoga practice balances the endocrine and nervous systems, while also working the cardiovascular system - studio is heated to 100+ degrees fahrenheit.

Hot Yoga Fusion - blend of different yoga styles to help you perfect your practice. You will flow, balance and work on your core. Room is heated.

Vinyasa Flow - this class builds energy, endurance, strength, and stamina. Dive into your higher-self through the exploration of linking asanas (postures) with breath - studio is heated to 80+ degrees fahrenheit, or left unheated.

Yoga Sculpt - advanced power vinyasa with light weights and core power.

Bhakti Flow - energetic vinyasa flow that radiates from the heart.

Core Empowerment - yoga class that integrates breath work, movement, core-strength and awareness. Each class will develop a sequence that enhances healthy alignment while gaining balance between inner strength and physical endurance. This is an open level class, welcoming beginners as well as advanced students. Allowing students to honor their strength on and off the mat.

Hatha - gentle yoga practice focused on alignment and mindfulness. Poses are held longer with creative sequencing and flow between asanas.

Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) - is a practice of guided relaxation with conscious awareness. This practice allows the body to relax on a cellular level. It is beneficial for any everyday stress and tension held in the body, but also anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, & high blood pressure to list a few. The class begins with pranayama (a short breathing exercise), and a few yin poses to ground and center the body physically and mentally. Once the body is ready to rest experience a 30-40 min Yoga Nidra practice while lying in savasana. Bring any props (blanket, pillow, eye pillow, cushion, etc.) that help create a comfortable space to practice resting with ease. No yoga experience necessary.

Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga - bring your yoga practice off of your mat and onto the lake. 1/2 hour studio practice followed by 1-hour SUP on Lake Tahoe. Mountain Lotus Yoga is Tahoe's original Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Class. *Summer Only*

Mountain Lotus Yoga

Yogi Barre - A low impact workout that will tone, tighten and sculpt the body. A blend of yoga, Pilates and ballet this effective full body workout will leave you toned from head to toe.

Meta Blast (HIIT) - A 60 min high intensity interval class that tones and strengthens your physique using your own body weight. Metabolism blasting moves using short intervals and motivating music, all while challenging your body through anaerobic training. Beneficial for all fitness levels, modifications always offered. Please bring a mat and water.

Parent to Be/Parent & Me
(Alternating Wednesdays)

Yoga: Bring your belly and your little ones to yoga class! Find your inner OHM through simple yoga flows that relieve stress, stretch the muscles, and build strength in the body while your littles play, sleep, or eat nearby. Join like-minded mamas and mamas-to-be in a relaxed class that has a fun and inviting atmosphere. Modifications given for pregnant, newly post-partum, and getting-back-into-it mamas/papas. (1hr)

Taboga: Bring your belly and your little ones to Taboga class! Taboga is an interval training class consisting of yoga poses, isometric moves, and core strengthening that revs up your metabolism for the rest of day. Give yourself an invigorating workout while your littles play, sleep, or eat nearby. Modifications given for pregnant, newly post-partum, and getting-back-into-it mamas/papas. (1hr)

Mama Barre: Bring your belly and your little ones to Mama Barre class! Barre is a low-impact class that will sculpt, tone, and tighten your body. Get your svelte on while your littles play, sleep, or eat nearby. Modifications given for pregnant, newly post-partum, and getting-back-into-it mamas/papas. (1hr)
